Nathan Cornett
Chapter President

Nathan Cornett has a diverse background in for- and not-for-profit organizations with a passion for serving others. At LaBahn’s Landscaping, his primary clients are HOA board members, investing in communities and board members are a critical component to the company profile. As a board member for CAI San Diego, Nathan works tirelessly to invest and grow the CAI San Diego Chapter; partnering with the board and many volunteers to improve membership growth and engagement.

Melissa Brown, PCAM, AMS
Chapter Vice President

Melissa Brown is the San Diego County Regional Director for The Avalon Management Group. She has 18 years of experience in the Homeowner Association Industry. Melissa obtained her AMS designation in 2013 and the prestigious PCAM designation in 2014. Melissa is well-rounded in all aspects of Homeowner Association Management. She has previously chaired the CAI San Diego Manager Support Committee and is on the Education Committee. In 2017, Melissa was awarded the CAI San Diego Community Manager Member of the Year Award.

Amber Korody, CMCA
Chapter President-Elect

Amber Korody is the owner and operator of Choice Management Solutions, a boutique management firm servicing Homeowners Associations throughout San Diego County. She has been in the industry for 15 years and has obtained the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA). She is active in the management industry and is continuing to find ways for associations to thrive through organization and communication.

Amber has been volunteering with CAI San Diego since 2015 and has actively served on the following committees: Community Outreach, Business Partner and Publications/Marketing. You will find that Amber loves helping CAI San Diego come together through community outreach events. 

Heather Wiltshire, CCAM, CMCA, AMS
Chapter Treasurer

Heather Wiltshire, CCAM, CMCA, AMS is the Regional Manager at Walters Management’s San Diego Corporate office. Heather joined Walters Management in the spring of 2017 where she has been actively engaged in supervision, training, direct management, team building, client satisfaction and policy development. Heather leads a team of portfolio managers and administrative assistants who are responsible for providing dedicated and professional service to Common Interest Developments of various forms, including single family homes, condominiums, townhomes, and commercial associations.

Heather has spent the past 8 years in supervisory positions, mentoring managers and coordinating team training sessions. With over 15 years in the CID industry, Heather has extensive experience with a wide variety of different boards, vendors, homeowners, and personalities. 

Tim Flanagan
Chapter Secretary

Tim Flanagan is a Partner with Flanagan Law, APC. Tim’s law practice has been dedicated solely to the representation of community associations in Southern California since 2010. Tim oversees the firm’s corporate counsel and enforcement litigation practice. Outside of the office, Tim spends his time on the baseball diamond where he manages his son’s Little League team.

Amanda Gray

Amanda Gray is a 20-year business development and marketing expert serving as VP of Marketing for Harvest Landscape Enterprises, Inc. She oversees the development and implementation of its marketing initiatives focusing on building clear and consistent brand messaging and increasing brand recognition. She also leads strategic growth initiatives in new markets, building relationships with valued partners and clients. 

A 10-year member of the Community Associations Institute (CAI), Gray will serve as Board of Director for CAI San Diego for the 2021-2023 term. Her clients and industry peers recognized her for providing exceptional service and support to the CID Industry throughout Southern California. She has served on various committees over the years across multiple CAI Chapters, including San Diego, Coachella Valley, Inland Empire, and Orange County. She is passionate about people and is always ready to lend a helping hand.

 Her previous roles include senior program manager, account executive, regional business development manager, and sales and marketing director. Gray is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in San Francisco.

Laura V. Kwiatkowski, Esq., CCAL

Laura V. Kwiatkowski is an attorney and the owner of the Law Office of Laura V. Kwiatkowski, where she has been representing community associations throughout Southern California since 1993. Laura has been a member of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) for over 20 years. Laura previously served on CAI San Diego’s Publications and Public Relations Committees in various capacities, including as a committee member and Chair and Vice Chair respectively for several years.

Laura has been serving on CAI San Diego’s Legislative Support Committee (LSC) for the last 5 years.  In 2019, Laura was Vice Chair of the LSC. Laura is the current Chair of the LSC. Laura is a frequent presenter at many CAI workshops and seminars at the local, state and national level. Laura was the recipient of CAI San Diego’s 1994 Speaker of the Year Award, 1996 Author of the Year Award, 1999 Author of the Year Award, and 2000 Committee Member of the Year Award. Laura has received the CAI Educated Business Partner Designation.
